Success Rates

One of the key considerations to decide the right fertility clinic for you is the success rate.

There are various factors that play a role in the chance of success. The best way to understand your own chances of live birth success from any treatment at the IVF-Life UK is to meet with one of our Consultants who will be happy to discuss and explain your individual case and your chance of success.

A clinical pregnancy is where a fetal heart has been observed following an ultrasound scan. The graphs above show our clinical pregnancy rates per embryo transferred for patients having fresh embryo transfer, either with IVF or ICSI treatment with their own eggs (January 2019-December 2019).
The graph above also shows the live birth rate per embryo transferred, either following IVF or ICSI treatment with a patients own eggs (January 2018-December 2018). This data has been validated by the HFEA.

Below, is the graph for our clinical pregnancy rates per embryo transferred for patients having a frozen embryo transfer, following either IVF or ICSI treatment with patients using their own eggs (January 2019-December 2019). The graph below also shows the live birth rate per frozen embryo transferred, either following IVF or ICSI treatment with a patients own eggs (January 2018-December 2018). This data has also been validated by the HFEA.

All data is consistent with the national success rates, but please note information of success rates is of limited value in comparing centres and choosing where to seek treatment. If you would like to see the data validated by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority then please visit the ‘Choose a Fertility Clinic’ section of HFEA’s website. Please note that the most recent HFEA validated clinical pregnancy data available is for treatments January 2021 – December 2021 and the most recent verified live birth data is for January 2021 – December 2021. The live birth rate per embryo transferred for January 2021 – December 2021 is 22% which is consistent with the national average*. The chance of achieving a pregnancy differs between patients and the information on success rates is of limited value when comparing Centres and choosing where to seek treatment.

Our second little miracle was born on Monday 16th December, weighing 6lb 11oz. Little Elodie is absolutely perfect in every way and her big brother is besotted.
